So I'm running a sci-fi Role-play campaign and this is the Starship the players crew.

The video tour of the 3D model can be found here:

The Role-play campaign is live streamed and can be found here:

This image is from the basic 3D model I made in Sketchup.

I took a lot of time and care in the ship's design, to not make the rampant mistakes so often done in Sci-fi starships. For one you'll notice there are reverse thrusters of equal size and strength so the ship can actually slow down as fast as it can accelerate. Also the thrusters are anchored to the ship with substantial strength. There's also rotational thrusters of significant size and strength so the ship can actually rotate and move sideways. If you look at a stardestroyerer from Star Wars and its thrusters all it could logically do is move forward. No banking, barrel-rolling or even reversing with any form of speed, if at all.

There's even more in the design but I'll spare you. If your interested I'm going to do a youtube video to explain all the ins and outs.

And you've fallen to two of the most rampant mistakes that get made with scifi starvessels (I hesitate to call them 'ships'):
1) Laying the decks out as you would in a seaborne ship, so the first burst of acceleration will leave you with a mass of broken bones and concussions, if not some actual deaths.
2) Windows, starvessels don't need them because there's damn all to look at and they're weak spots in the hull, for radiation if nothing else.

You're also wasting space making it look aerodynamic, despite the fact that unless you have some mighty powerful anti-gravity, you're never going to be entering atmosphere.
