Guardian

The next in my superhero line up; Guardian.

I actually have a bit of history with this character but it’s too long to go into, I’ll just give my regular character description.

John Riverton is fairly regular fourteen year old high school student. He looks really buff for a fourteen year old you may say, well that’s because what you are looking at is an extremely advanced suit. The suit has a synthetic muscle structure, hence why it looks so big. This also hides John size and age, which he does not reveal. No one, not even the superhero community know who Guardian is, which is funny because he’s somewhat of a leader and moral guide among them, considered second to Paladin (one of my other superheroes) and supplies them with most of their hardware. There are superheroes whose trademark weapons come from Guardian.
Guardian’s powers are:
-Supersonic Flight, from the glowing energy emitters you can see on him.
-Super strength. We’re talking big here, around 500 ton average. This is achieved through the synthetic muscle structure and projected electromagnetic fields around the objects he wants to lift.
-Electromagnetic field emittion. radio waves, microwaves, terahertz radiation, infrared radiation, visible light, ultraviolet radiation, X-rays, gamma rays and even field frequencies that only he knows of.
-Disintegration. This one is one of his more serious weapons. John discovered a new highly charged electromagnetic field frequency that nullifies the weak nuclear force, which is the force that holds atoms together. Once nullified the atoms literally just fall apart. It is the most powerful and dangerous form of radiation in existence. He can controls it’s localised emittion so it only hits what he wants. He has never disintegrate anyone, but it’s very usefully to get rid of opponent’s weapons and such.
-Object construction. Because he can break down matter on the subatomic level, he can store the harnessed particles and restructure them according to pre-specified designs, detailed on the atomic level.
-High yield energy weaponry. Electric, Photonic, Protonic and Neutronic weaponry.
-Mild level magnetism. Nothing like magneto’s level but enough to throw a car or two.
-World wide monitoring. He has a satellite network he’s linked into and can see/detect most things he wants to.

These powers are all sustained through microscopic fusion reactions, the main by-product being photons, which can then be converted into pure electricity.

How in the world does a fourteen year old kid have such a powerful suit and seemingly endless resources? Well that is described in a wonderfully long winded history, found below ^_^



John Riverton was not particularly bad or good at sports, math or anything else. The things that separated him though, made him stand out, was a very strong desire to do more with his life and achieve more, a heightened ethical sensitivity, extreme curiosity and a very strong abstract thinking process. He just naturally thought outside of the box. Those assets lead him to one idea that changed his life.

The idea was simple enough on the surface. It was a way to make different, contained electromagnetic field frequencies, why? To see what would happen of course.

He made a crude experimental electromagnetic field emitting platform. It was quite a success. He was able to duplicate all the known electromagnetic field frequencies such as radio waves, microwaves, terahertz radiation, infrared radiation, visible light, ultraviolet radiation, X-rays and even gamma rays. By creating a second containments field overtop of the main field he was able to keep himself safe. This was actually a ground breaking discovery for at that point the only way to create gamma rays was through electron-positron annihilation, neutral pion decay, radioactive decay and fusion or fission. Then came an accident and a little luck.
John stumbled upon an undiscovered, highly conductive electromagnetic field frequency (in other words a new form of radiation) that neutralizes the weak nuclear force and could make atoms literally fall apart.
Then adding containment units he collected the protons and neutron from the disintegrated atoms and through differing field frequencies, restructured them into new elements... he turned a lot of dirt into pure gold. Hiding his identity he hired a business coordinator to build up several dummy corporations to sell the inexhaustible amounts of gold which then gave him, inexhaustible amounts of cash. From there it was history. He hired many other companies to develop parts of advanced computer software and programs which enabled his EM field emitter platform to follow detailed blueprints and construct other elements together. He could make anything; all he needed were the designs.
He built a massive secret underground facility, developed the most sophisticated artificial intelligence computer system and launched the most comprehensive satellite monitoring network. All to support his main goal, to protect the world a world in need of protection, to be its...
